The US Army blue denim 1940 pattern work jacket.
Replica vintage denim jacket.
Blue denim was issued by the US Army from 1909 as the work uniform which was the standard material for work clothing at that time. These vintage clothing designs are now very fashionable.
This jacket was introduced in 1940 by the US Army to replace the earlier M1929 blue denim shirt.
It was introduced after complaints that the M1929 shirt which was a over the head pullover design was impractical in the field, so the M1940 blue denim work uniform jacket was introduced by the US Army.
